Irving Quilt Guild and five other Guilds will be participating in conjunction with the Original Sewing and Quilting Expo to bring North Texas one of its largest quilt shows.
There will be 300-400 judged quilts on display, classes, demos, speakers and rows of vendors. Come see our booth and purchase a chance to win our Donation Quilt made by Guild members!
Festival Night
On Thursday evening, August 24th at 7:00pm, you can enjoy a wonderful keynote talk by Meg Cox (www.megcox.com), who will share her thoughts on “Making Meaning How Quilters Celebrate Life”. Meg is a fun and inspiring lecturer who can change lives. There will also be door prizes to include a sewing machine to be given away to a lucky person who attends that night. Key Festival ribbon winners will be recognized. Come join us for a lively and thought provoking Festival Night at the NTQF Quilt Show.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased from a guild member or on a “space available” basis at the door that night.
Show Tickets
Tickets to the NTQF Quilt Show will be $10 from a participating guild member or $15 at the door the day of the event. They are also available for $13 online at www.sewingexpo.com/Events/Arlington,TX . Parking will be $5. All proceeds from the tickets sold by the guild members will benefit the Guild. Please buy your tickets from the guild members and buy some for your friends and family who usually go to our shows. Don’t buy them at the door because the sales will not benefit the guild.
